The Samsung Gear Fit is a lightweight and good looking, but has too many drawbacks, including accuracy issues and the fact that it's only compatible with Samsung Galaxy devices.Tags:Smartphones,Gadgets,Wearable TechBest prices todayRetailer Price Delivery...
The build is lovely and the design very smart. The screen is bright, beautifully customisable and it's generally a pleasure to wear.
The exercise end of the equation is a let down. The coaching is unreliable and it doesn't provide much of a training platform outside of the device
It doesn't do enough to justify its existence. It's a nice object with some fun features but just not useful enough for us to recommend it....

Premium design and build quality, excellent screen, fun to use, good to keep on top of health
Limited to working with Samsung Galaxy devices only, two to three day battery life, not everyone will like the design

Good looking (for a smartwatch), Decent build quality, Curved display is bright, Battery should last up to 3 days
Time display very unrealiable, Lacks GPS tracking, Can't see long texts, S Health app is not user friendly, Doesn't automatically detect sleep or excercise
This is a smartwatch/fitness tracker that falls short on what it promises. The Gear Fit does have a lovely screen, easy-to-use user interface and will fit most people’s wrist, but it has too many issues. It’s heading in the right direction but is not yet...
Gorgeous curved Super AMOLED screen, Notifications work for all apps, Silky smooth scrolling, Easy to use software interface, Cool heart-rate monitor
Long screen is awkward to use, Plastic strap is cheap, Charging dongle is awkward, Pedometer is inaccurate, Fitness features are half-baked
The Gear Fit is a gorgeous piece of tech, and has an effective interface, but underneath the shimmer and gloss, it's a mid-rate smartwatch and a poor fitness tracker. If getting phone notifications on your wrist is worth $200 (and you own a Galaxy phone...
The hardware is near-perfect. Really, all it's missing is an ambient light sensor, and maybe a mic for quick replies to email. But the screen is lovely, the band is comfortable, and the whole thing just looks great. Four days of battery life is totally re
The software is unforgivably bad. Tragically bad. It feels as if the Gear Fit and the S Health teams barely spoke to each other at all. Which is especially bedeviling since Samsung made the conscious choice to sell a wearable product that only works with
No. Absolutely not. This incredibly promising device is utterly ruined by bad software. Also, it's £180. If Samsung does a major software overhaul—and I mean from the ground up—then it could be a great device. But for now, the fact that it only works with...
VERDICT Open Gallery When we first saw the Samsung Gear Fit, we saw a light, wearable fitness device with a unique curved screen and the ability to work seamlessly with Samsung phones. What we got was a light, but quite bulky, wearable device. It...
