Abstrakt: Oppo DV-981HD anses vara en riktigt prisvärd dvd-spelare men komponentvideoutgång saknas. Uppskalningen av dvd till upplösningen 1080p fungerar problemfritt.

The image quality produced by this player is absolutely wonderful, including still frames, stepped frames, and high-speed action. The packaging and inclusions are excellent.

If you can't be bothered with Blu-ray and want a reasonably priced DVD deck that supports a wide range of formats, then you'd do well to track the DV-981HD down. The user interface could be improved, but performance is hugely impressive, punching above it...
