Speaker batteries arent replaceable; speakers lack convincing bass, and sound quality deteriorates at higher volumes; video output only works for fifth-gen iPods; remote offers only basic controls, so youll have to return to the base station to acces...
The iPod-friendly Griffin Evolve is the first wireless speaker system that delivers a truly cable-free experience.
Abstrakt: Almost a year ago at CES 2007, Griffin gave the press a peek at a prototype of a wireless speaker system that offered both style and technology found in no other iPod system on the market. It was a bold product for a company that draws the majority of ...

Sound quality and the price aren't great, but how many iPod docks can put their speakers at opposite ends of the house? Exactly!Griffin Evolve is tagged with Griffin, battery powered, portable and iPod. Select a tag (Griffin, for example) to find ever...

Wireless speakers and remote control effective at a long distance from base station, auxiliary input allows other devices to go wireless, simple set-up
Remote can’t browse playlists, can’t buy extra speakers without dock (yet), the antennae look vulnerable
We’re not excited by the Evolve’s features in general, but they’re adequate, and we are definitely excited by the wireless speakers. If room-to-room portability overrides a more fully featured remote control, or clock and radio functions...
