The Snowball is an extremely sturdy and stylish multipattern microphone that plugs directly into your computers USB port with a minimum of fuss.
Beyond USB, the Snowball offers no other audio outputs or inputs, the recording mode switch isnt intuitively labeled, and no recording software is included.
At this price, youll have a hard time finding a better-sounding, better-looking, or more easy-to-use microphone for your computer. Just dont expect the Blue Microphones Snowball to replace a studios worth of recording gear. Price range: $84.95 - $11...
Friendly manual and easy installation make getting started a breeze. Lowsensitivity setting is perfect for recording loud sounds (also works great with drunken cohosts)
Bulbous: Forget cramming this 4inch globe into the messenger bag with your laptop. Jokey endorsement from North Platte Star Trek Fan Club president on page one of manual is highly illogical

Abstrakt: There was a time when studio quality microphones were beyond the reach of average users, but thankfully those days are behind us. The field is full of affordable options, and Blues Snowball microphone is one of my favorites. The Snowball doesnt req...
Abstrakt: Most of us would love to be able to record clean audio for narration and voice overs in our editing bay, without having to mess with trying to set up a home audio studio. While superior dynamic range can be reached with some of the true studio-designed...
Very easy to connect, No software or drivers required, Fantastic performance
Larger size may be hard to place on a crowded desk
Overall, the Blue Microphones Snowball is a fantastic USB mic that can be used to record anything from singing and instruments to spoken words and is simply fantastic when used for podcasting and video blogging. If you struggling to get better audio q...
Abstrakt: There was a time when the Macintosh came with an external microphone, right? Do you all remember those disc-like microphones that attached to the side of the monitor or those ones that sat on top, looking down on you like the spaceships from the 1953
Abstrakt: The Snowball, pictured here on a 6in.-high tripod stand, is Blue Microphones’ first low-priced microphone. Without even mentioning audio software, Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, and lots of other video apps let you record audio d...
Abstrakt: Blue Microphones, creator of such noteworthy professional recording microphones as the Dragonfly, Bottle and Kiwi, has now introduced an entry-level mic so cute that my wife wants one. I should add that she?s not normally interested in such things. But...
