Great battery life, Slim build
Basic power, USB on keyboard dock only, Cramped keys
HP's Envy x2 comes packing a bright 11.6" five-point touchscreen which runs at a crisp 1366 x 768, with a wide 16:9 aspect ratio that’s brilliant for gobbling down video and rivals the 11" MacBook Air's screen too. Packaged in a tight, small form-factor, the Envy x2 reminds us of both the MacBook Air and the iPad yet still stands apart from Apple's devices. If you want a device to impress your fr
The x2 suffers from a few slowdowns due to the slightly underpowered Intel Atom processor tucked inside. It's fast enough to get your work done, but you’ll see a few blips on the way and don't expect to be playing any demanding games on it or editing much video either. Despite a nippy 64GB SSD tucked inside, storage space is a major issue for the HP Envy x2. You'll find around 20GB already gobble

Abstrakt: Windows 8 was designed with computers that can be used as both a laptop and as a tablet in mind. Manufacturers have come up with numerous quirky designs for such hybrid computers, but we've so far been unconvinced by any of them. The HP Envy X2 could e...
Abstrakt: A stylish Windows 8 hybrid device with great battery life – but the price is too highRating: 3Average: 3 (1 vote) The Intel Atom brand tends to find itself attached to bargain-basement hardware. But HP’s Atom-based Envy x2 is an upmarket convertible. I...
Good battery life, brushed-aluminium build, screen looks quality, NFC
Pricey, keyboard's "sticky" keys aren't great for typing, limited power from Atom processor, fiddly tablet separation process
The HP Envy x2 is a product that we were excited about when it was first announced. But that excitement has largely evaporated thanks to the product's price point. See, the HP Envy x2 isn't a bad product by any means, it's just badly positioned on t...
The HP Envy X2 (11-g012nr) is a slick-looking detachable tablet laptop with all-day battery life, but some may balk at price and the limitations of an Atom processor....
