Considering all of the positive and negative aspects of both of these tablets, it is quite evident that Windows 8 is a touch operating system and should only be experienced with a touch environment. I personally did not like Windows 8 until I started t...
This is a tricky conclusion to write, because as always there's a lot of concluding that has to be done. On the one hand, we have Intel's Clover Trail platform. On the other we have Acer's Iconia W510 tablet itself. And on a magical third hand we have to...
Clovertrail is a ground-breaking new PC platform. What Intel achieved in their smartphone platform has now been echoed on the desktop and it puts to shame the ‘efficient' Ultrabooks they are promoting right now which might explain why you can only buy Cl...
Great battery life, Sturdy hinge, Super portable, The full compatibility of Windows 8
Cramped, shallow keyboard, Few full size ports, Overpriced, Underpowered, Top heavy

Offering low-powered Intel Atom tablet/laptop hybrids for $750 or more is a dodgy proposition for budget-looking systems such as the Iconia W510, but all-day battery life is a great selling point....
A surprisingly fast portable computer; Plenty of ports; 3G option available; Great battery life for a Windows 8 machine;
You can lose characters while typing; No gestures on the trackpad; While the hinge is strong, the space inside the hinge isn't tight enough to stabilise the tablet; Screen topples over easily;
For its size and price, Acer's W510 offers a surprising amount of power, and while there are some obvious problems, most of which stem from design and construction materials, we can see that there would be people who would enjoy what Acer has put together...
Abstrakt: Lisa Gade reviews the Acer Iconia Tab W510 Windows 8 tablet. The W510 runs full Windows 8 on a 1.8GHz Intel Atom Clover Trail CPU with 2 gigs of RAM and 32 or 64 gigs of flash storage. It has an IPS-like 10.1″, 1366 x 768 touchscreen, dual band WiFi, Blue...
